Limb Snapping is an event we have every year to highlight the creativity in our community and celebrate what we have accomplished throughout the year.

The 10th Annual Limb Snapping will be held August 18th-20th, 2023

Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival is an intimate weekend where we open up the root for visitors to enjoy the fall foliage and share a wholesome feast of food grown at the Root and in the surrounding community. 2022 Harvest Festival Date to be announced soon.

Freaquinox

The Freaquinox brings in the warmer weather, after a long & cold winter. Usually it is still a bit chilly, but we come together to welcome spring & the Spring Equinox with friends, food, activities, music & more. 2023 Freaquinox Date to be announced soon.

Arts Weekend

Every year we gather several talented artists and crafts people to give a weekend of inspiring demonstrations and workshops. We believe anyone can participate in artistic expression and there is no better place to learn and practice then outdoors. Arts Weekend this year was June 24-26th 2022.
